Bought this for sync, doesn’t sync without iCloud

Should have been more careful, pictured this magically syncing with my iPhone, but it doesn’t without somehow going through icloud, which I wasn’t willing to turn on just for podcasts.

The iOS app is so good it bugged me that I didn’t have it on my computer. Would be good if the developer or apple would make it possible for this to sync episodes and play positions when both my computer and my iPhone are connected to the same wifi.
