Syncs everything except episodes.

My bad for not recognizing that “syncs episode INFORMATION” could be interpreted to mean everything except the episode (i.e., media file) itself, which is exactly what does mean. So if you’ve got podcasts on your Mac that are no longer on the feed, those episodes can’t be synced to your iOS device so you can listen to them on the go. Also doesn’t recognize that media files a new user imports are the same as the ones in the feed.

The search continues. Wouldn’t it be funny if it turns out that Apple’s own Podcasts app, for all its flaws, is actually the best?
